Paul P. Peou, is co-lead of the firm’s Defense, Government and Intelligence (DGI) practice. Prior notable transactions include the acquisition of MSC by Dovel Technologies, the sale of Dovel Technologies to Macquarie Capital and the acquisition of Atlas Research by Customer Value Partners. Mr. Peou’s focus is working with clients to implement their strategic vision and growth plans, raising capital to support growth, preparing and helping them make synergistic acquisitions, and “quarterbacking” due diligence.
Mr. Peou began his career in econometric modeling, finance and accounting and thereafter committed several years as a Peace Corps Business Development Volunteer in Ukraine. After traveling and working between Ukraine, Russia and Moldova, he entered the telecommunications sector helping to finance landline, wireless, microwave and satellite networks. Having developed a keen sense of technology and markets in telecommunications, Mr. Peou, has spent over 10 years working in the Defense, Intelligence and Government Services sector first as director of corporate development for TASC (acquired by Engility and then SAIC) then directly with emerging, small and established companies realizing their vision and growth plans.
Mr. Peou graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics where he was a varsity athlete as a coxswain for UPenn’s Heavyweight rowing team. He continues to be involved in rowing and is a member of the Potomac Boat Club in Washington DC and helps coach high school rowing. He is also an avid chess player and enjoys cooking.
