Exelis acquired Barco Orthogon
from Barco NV. Orthogon provides
applications for air traffic flow
management and decision-making
to airport operators and air
navigation service providers
globally. Orthogon’s applications
predict traffic demand on runways
based on key performance
indicators. The acquisition
augments Exelis’ offerings in its
strategic growth area of critical
networks. Orthogon will become
part of Exelis’ Information Systems
division.
Precision Aviation Group, Inc.
(PAG) acquired Aviation Controls
Inc (ACI). ACI is a global provider
of MRO services for engine
accessories. ACI is an authorized
FAA repair station specializing in
turbine engine controls and
accessories. The company
operates in a 25,000 square foot
facility and is considered an
industry leader. The acquisition
expands PAG’s capabilities into
engine accessories.
Artemis Capital Partners acquired
Adcol Corporation, a manufacturer
of metrology gauges and satellite
sun sensors. Adcole supplies high-
precision sun sensors that provide
mission-critical positioning and
control capabilities to a broad array
of Low Earth, Medium Earth, and
Geostationary satellites and NASA
exploration vehicles.
