Matthew Volkmann

Matthew Volkmann serves as the lead Director of the Financial Consulting Practice at the McLean Group. With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Volkmann is skilled in financial due diligence and quality of earnings services (buy-side and sell-side), transaction advisory services, financial modeling and analysis, operational accounting, and forensic accounting. He has deep experience working with private equity and strategic corporate buyers and lenders, providing QofE services in the government contracting, manufacturing, IT, healthcare, energy, and professional services industries. As leader of the Mclean Group’s Financial Consulting Practice, Mr. Volkmann primarily assists clients with financial due diligence and QofE services.

Prior to joining the McLean Group, Matthew Volkmann worked at MorganFranklin Consulting, primarily focused on providing transaction advisory services to private equity and corporate clients. Mr. Volkmann also previously worked at Dixon Hughes Goodman as a Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services practice, FTI Consulting as a Director in the Forensic Accounting and Advisory practice, and Freddie Mac as an Audit Analyst.

Mr. Volkmann holds a B.B.A. in accounting from James Madison University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Outside of work, Mr. Volkmann is a tennis enthusiast and enjoys quality time with his wife and daughter.
