|
On March 22, Chicago’s water industry will convene at the 2018 World Water Day Symposium. Here, industry leaders will share their valuable insights on how Chicago is poised to capitalize on opportunities and overcome challenges facing the water industry. The McLean Group’s Mark Bertler will speak on the panel, “Leadership in Disaster Relief & Humanitarian Water.” The Symposium is orchestrated by Current and is held in commemoration of the 25th World Water Day, a day designated by the United Nations for the global community to protect and enhance water resources. Current is a non-profit organization that delivers advanced research and market driven innovations to enhance water resources, build resilience and drive sustainable economic growth by bridging structural gaps that hinder innovation. It was launched by Chicago Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, along with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago and the region’s major research institutions.
