McLEAN, VA – April, 2020 – The McLean Group is pleased to announce that it advised Integrated Water Services (IWS), a leading water and wastewater treatment solutions provider, on its sale to Sciens Water Opportunity Group who is affiliated with Sciens Capital Management which is an independent investment manager that specializes in real asset investments, including investments in the water sector. The transaction was led by Mark Bertler and Jeff Conn of the firm’s Water and Environmental Services Group, which is part of the Firm’s Critical Infrastructure Practice. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Over the past five years, IWS has taken a leadership position in offering advanced membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology solutions through Design-Build, CMAR, and construction services. The investment by Sciens will help grow the core business and accelerate expansion into new markets and product offerings.
